Elegantly styled 70’s flare

Ok, so I have been holding on to these pictures for a while now waiting for the right time to post this look, 4 weeks down the line and I think it is probably about time don’t you think!? ha

Also did anyone else notice how the 70s style is seriously going strong this year! I mean, late last year we saw the return of this style in both Men and Women fashion but this year it looks like it is on another level. In the space of 5 months we have already worn or still wearing flared pants, roll neck sweater, denim, and suede fabric. I am not complaining though, this retro trend is uniquely fashionable, and I am embracing every moment of it.

Back to the look;
I have always wanted flare trousers to add to my collection, but I didn’t know I was going to hit the jackpot when I stumbled upon this stunning 70s styled flared trousers from H&M. All I need now is ‘That ’70s show’ to return and I think I might just fit right in! ha.
Finding the perfect shade to go with this trouser was easy since it was a warm cream colour, so I knew pairing it with vibrant colour such as red would do the job. I paired this trouser with a red sweater top (no longer available) from Topshop, red blazer jacket from Zara and metallic gold shoes from Riverisland.

What do you guys think of this look? would you rock or skip it? if you aren’t feeling the flare in Jeans, H&M also has similar style in Corduroy which I might add is fabulous, do check out the site for amazing SS18 collections.

#OOTD In Search of Spring!

The calendar may say “spring,” but that doesn’t mean the weather is letting up any time soon. So as we sulk at the thought of continuous layering and heavy coat that seems to never end, we can always use our imagination to pretend spring has indeed sprung on us. Today’s look features the current trending Baker Boy Hat and the ongoing Basket – Weave Bag trend that just won’t quit.

By the way, I am currently on the look out for more affordable basket – weave bags to feature on my blog, so get ready to feast your eyes on some gorgeous delights!! 🙂

Back to my current look! While preparing for the shoot I initially intended on leaving the heavy coat behind to create a more spring vibe look but the freezing weather had a different plan for me. Luckily, I was able to get few shots without the coat which I was happy with. That being said I definitely think I will be holding onto my fur for as long as I can, well, until the weather lightens up. #sorrydonatella (this isn’t a real fur though so it’s ok ha!!

So, I am in love with this outfit and couldn’t be more excited that I can style the entire look two ways!

The First look was casual, keeping it simple yet cute enough for that errand runs.

Second look was simply to glam up the casual look for a night out. Either way, I wanted to show that you can easily dress up any look by simply choosing the right pair of heels, accessories that compliments that look and the right attitude.

#OOTD Corduroy Jacket

Hey darlings!! So I know I haven’t been posting lately…. it’s been a seriously slow Month but I really need to pick my blog game and boost it up again! Meanwhile behind the scene, I have been embracing the 70s style.

Yes ladies and Gents, it’s back to the vintage for me. ‘Out with the old and in with the new old baby’!! What do you guys think of this Corduroy Jacket? I initially had my eye on a different colour of this bad boy but after series of fitting room try on I went with the green colour. I am glad I did though because I can easily style this jacket with practically anything.

For today’s #ootd I went for a classic chic but retro look. Pairing this jacket with my favourite holiday shorts from H&M and thigh high boots from ASOS.

Bandeau Sweater Top Style Express

Hello again gorgeous babes!! I hope you had a lovely weekend. So lately I have been quite obsessed with my latest buy from ZARA. Yes, this stunning Bandeau Sweater Top is completely giving me all sorts of life and I am loving it ha!

Although it isn’t your typical Bandeau, I love that idea of having to change the style of a particular look so freely to match whatever look you are going for!! The soft elastic bottom frame has been tailored to either show off a subtle hint of midriff or as seen on the images it can simply be worn as a full look. The neckline unlike the off shoulder tops, allows you to move more freely without having to readjust.

As Seen on me:

This sweater paired with MANGO Ruffle flared trousers and styled to showcase two different looks.

First look was dressed down with a loafer from Tkmaxx to give it that Casual setting while the second look was paired with one of my favourite heels from BEBO Shoes.
