Hey darlings!! So I know I haven’t been posting lately…. it’s been a seriously slow Month but I really need to pick my blog game and boost it up again! Meanwhile behind the scene, I have been embracing the 70s style.
Yes ladies and Gents, it’s back to the vintage for me. ‘Out with the old and in with the new old baby’!! What do you guys think of this Corduroy Jacket? I initially had my eye on a different colour of this bad boy but after series of fitting room try on I went with the green colour. I am glad I did though because I can easily style this jacket with practically anything.
For today’s #ootd I went for a classic chic but retro look. Pairing this jacket with my favourite holiday shorts from H&M and thigh high boots from ASOS.

Hello darlings! It’s been way too long; I do hope your having a pleasant week so far 😊. Alright, so those of you that follow my Instagram page @stephstyleguide know I was on an amazing vacation!! Yes, I spent 2 weeks in Santorini and (boy) did I love it. I was thinking of writing a blog about my trip but I don’t think writing about It would do it enough justice plus honestly I was just being plain lazy lol. All I can say is when you do decide to visit Greece, it is a must to wear comfortable shoes and outfit as to see the beauty requires plenty of walking ‘I kid you not’!!
So back to reality now and guys I have to tell you, I am in love with this year seasonal colours. To find out more on this, check out ELLE using below link where I have been keeping up on the latest trends.
OK, I have been particularly obsessing over the colour red and of course 70s plaid! Since I love bright bold colours you know I wasn’t going to miss out on wearing the #powerred as it’s called in Elle. Tell me, what colour has tickled your fancy this #fall season?
For today’s look I paired my favourite red Blazer with a checked trouser. I love this look because it has that urban edge to it. Don’t you think?! You can either dress it up by pairing this look with your fav black patent stiletto or go casual as seen on me. Either way you are still guaranteed to look good. I don’t know how y’all do it keeping those sneakers white I have been tip toeing around trying but failing miserably to keep them as clean.
Anyways I hope you all have a fantastic week 🙂

Hi lovelies, I hope you had a good weekend! I am sort of excited to get on with the new week, why you ask? Because it is Pay – Day on Friday my friends 😂. Yes, I can finally stop with the window shopping and walk into a shop like a boss knowing I can buy what I want but not really buying what I want. You know what I mean? Ha!!
So I’ve gotta ask this question, what are your thoughts on the return of puffy sleeves style this year? I mean, it was mostly known as a style halfway between the 80s and the Victorian era wasn’t it? So, what made it so popular back then and why the return now? to answer my own questions I felt it was something I had to try on for the answer to click!
I ordered this top a few weeks back and it was one of those blouses where it was either going to be a hit or miss as to what it looked like once it was on – I don’t know about you all, but it’s difficult for me to really go by how the model on the shopping site looks in anything! My body type is completely opposite from theirs, so it’s very hard to tell what an outfit would look like on a regular person, so I was interested to try it out!
My main attraction was the neckline which had silver rings at the side ( by the way doesn’t it look like earrings just waiting to be worn?) oh and of course the puffy arm which was slightly different to what was already out there!! My only disclaimer – I had to wear a belt to give it shape because I felt it needed that. But I do know there are other puff styles out there. It all depends on the Look you are going for, your outfit may look whimsical, feminine, and modern so you must select ones that fit your fashion preferences!
One more note – This top is currently on seasonal offer so although I missed it, you could still get your hands on it for a reasonable price.

Oh hey guys, so remember when I told you my current trending obsessions are frills and fringe, well, I found me the perfect dress from H&M that you will absolutely love.
Short, straight-cut dress with an opening and button at the back of the neck, frills on the shoulders and down the sides, and concealed pockets in the side seams. Yes, isn’t it just perfect?
It can be dressed up or down for any occasion and with the right pair of heels preferably boots, it could also be perfect for the transitioning to AW 17.

Can it forever be summer?! Ha, I feel like there are so many trending looks which have yet to be explored but as famously quoted in GOT ‘Winter is Coming’ and unfortunately we might have to leave them behind!! But never fear guys it ain’t here yet so we might as well enjoy the moment😉.
So as of lately I am currently loving the crossover style of wrap tops. Although it is not super-popular right now, I definitely think people are starting to come around it again. I mean what’s not to love, it can be dressed up or down and you can easily make your own version.
