Looking Ahead 2017

Colour Splash

As we leave the colder season behind it is all too easy to still fall into the tedious palette of grey and black, however Introducing just a splash of colour into your wardrobe is an instant mood lifter.

A study published in the November-December issue of Australasian Science found that “a positive mood seems to promote creativity, flexibility, cooperation and reliance on mental shortcuts, negative moods trigger more attentive, careful thinking, paying greater attention to the external world,” Joseph P. Forgas, a professor of social psychology at the University of New South Wales in Australia, wrote in the study.

Taking this into consideration here are few bright colours that are perfect for curing these winter blues.

You can never go out of trend with this hues of blue. It’s versatility and ease of wear is really what makes it so great and captivating in the fashion world. I am completely loving this blue and white frilly shirt from SS/17 Zara collection. its frilled shoulder and front button fastening gives it that diversity making it wearable for all occasions.

Go on girl do your thing!

ZARA CHENILLE

Mustard is proving a surprisingly popular shade for SS17. Just like that blue there are loads of ways to wear this colour without getting mustard on your face. For me this river island mustard jumper has got it going on. Love it!
